Dietitian Fees, Charges and Rebates:-
Our Dietitian Consultation Fees*.

Initial Consultation (45-60 minutes) - $105-00

This is a standard initial consultation used for weight loss, diabetes, cholesterol, general review of nutrition and assessment.

We complete a full assessment to ensure that we cover all of your nutrition requirements

Concession rate $85-00

Complex Initial Consultation (60 minutes) - $130-00
-
This is for patient who need more time and has more complex needs
EG: Clients looking for more personalised assistance with sports nutrition, food intolerance investigations, complex gut issues, those with a complex medical history, bariatric surgery assessment and patients who are newly diagnosed with Coeliac Disease or other Inflammatory Bowel Disorder

Review Consult (30 minutes) - $85-00

A review is where we assess your progress.

It can also be to move into challenging food intolerances.

We love to hear how the changes you make to your nutrition are improving many aspects of your life including your energy levels, sleep and overall feelings of wellbeing.

Further education will be provided

Those with a concession card will be eligible for a discount.

REBATES and CLAIMING
​
Private Health Funds
Most private health funds will provide rebates on individual consultation. The rebate depends on your level of cover and your individual fund.
Please contact your health fund to see what rebate you are entitled to,
​
Medicare (Care Plans from your GP)
With a Chronic Disease Care plan, you may discuss with your GP having Dietitian appointments included as part of the plan to assist with your health.
Under a care plan you will receive up to 5 Medicare rebates towards your appointment cost. (Rebate currently $60.35).
Gippsland Dietetics will Bulk Bill Concession Card patients for review appointments under a health care plan.

DVA
Gippsland Dietetics can provide appointments as a provider for Department of Veterans Affairs.
If you have a Gold card you will not be required to pay,
​
Private patients do not need a referral from a GP to see a Dietitian.
​
NDIS
NDIS has different pricing as outlined in NDIS policy.
​
Please also note that we have a Cancellation Policy: -
50% of the fee will still be payable if cancelled within 2 days of the appointment
100% payable if cancelled within 24 hours.
